Doug Ferguson

Doug Ferguson is the NSW Chairman and Head of Asia & International Markets at KPMG Australia, overseeing strategic relationships and managing 300 partners and 4,000 employees. They lead initiatives across various Asian markets and the sporting sector, including the 2032 Brisbane Olympic & Paralympic Games. Previously based in Beijing and Hong Kong for over a decade, Doug provided financial due diligence for private equity and multinational clients. They are a Mandarin speaker, completed a postgraduate leadership course at INSEAD, and have co-authored over 20 research reports on investment and trade. Doug volunteers in several leadership roles, including Chairman of AmCham’s Board of Governors in NSW and Board member of Reconciliation Australia.
