Liran B. is currently a Partner at KPMG, focusing on credit risk advisory projects and IFRS 9 ECL audit work across South Africa and the rest of Africa. Previously, Liran held various roles in the credit risk industry, including Associate Director at PwC South Africa, Senior Manager at KPMG South Africa, and Head of Retail Impairments at Nedbank. With a background in Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand, Liran has extensive experience in model building and financial calculations related to credit risk, having also worked with Tier 1 banks and non-bank institutions. Liran started their career as a Credit Risk Specialist at SVF Mauritius and served as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Deloitte, where Liran contributed to significant auditing and model construction efforts.
