Richard Smith

Richard Smith is the Associate Director of Finance & Accounting at KPMG, where they provide ongoing financial analysis and business advice to leadership. They previously served as the Finance Manager and Controller at Oil Inspections (USA) Inc, overseeing the finances of multiple domestic and global companies. Richard held the position of Finance/Business Manager & President at eMerge Works, LLC, where they successfully built an IT and web development company. Earlier in their career, they were the Deputy Director for the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program at the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership, fostering relationships between aerospace engineers and small businesses. Richard holds a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
