Sam Chen

Sam Chen is an experienced tax professional with a robust background in financial institutions and products. Since May 2010, Sam has held various leadership roles at KPMG, including Principal and Managing Director at Washington National Tax. Prior to this, Sam contributed as a Senior Manager and Manager at Ropes & Gray LLP in the Tax & Benefits Department from September 2007 to March 2010. Earlier professional experience includes a position as an R&D Engineer at Synopsys from January 2001 to August 2004. Sam holds a law degree from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
