Otis Vabolis

Otis Vabolis is a Data Scientist at KPN since January 2022, focusing on generative AI use-cases and the integration of Azure OpenAI models in customer support to enhance interactions. Vabolis also engages in explainable AI research and development, implementing state-of-the-art feature attribution methods for deep learning transformer architectures and utilizing explainable AI techniques to improve communication with non-technical stakeholders. Prior to this role, Vabolis served as a Teaching Assistant for Calculus 2 at the University of Groningen in early 2019. Vabolis holds a Master’s degree in Computational Particle Physics and a Bachelor’s degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, both from the University of Groningen.
