Robbin Blokpoel is a seasoned software architect and engineer with extensive experience in managing complex software landscapes and traffic technologies. Currently serving as Lead Software Architect/Engineer at KPN since April 2021, Robbin has navigated the challenges of overseeing a system with over 3 million fiber optic connections. Previously, Robbin worked as a Software Consultant at Team Rockstars IT, providing services to KPN. Prior to this, Robbin held the position of Lead Researcher at Dynniq Nederland, focusing on advanced technology solutions for energy and mobility management, and developed a next-generation adaptive traffic light control algorithm. Robbin's project coordination experience includes representing Dynniq in the €3.1 million MAVEN initiative, involving multiple European partners. Robbin also served as a Fraction Assistant City Council for the Municipality of Soest, advocating on traffic-related matters. Robbin holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Twente.
