Ronald Kester

Ronald Kester is an experienced Solutions Architect at KPN, with a focus on designing application hosting solutions and maintaining managed CI/CD services using Kubernetes. With a background in Big Data architecture and IT Infrastructure Architecture for significant clients such as the Port of Rotterdam, Ronald has successfully delivered managed Big Data platforms and integrated IT services. Prior to KPN, Ronald served as an IT consultant and development worker at Maichew Technical College in Ethiopia and held various roles at Getronics PinkRoccade, PinkRoccade, Pink Elephant, and NIOO-KNAW, where a PhD research project in Microbial Ecology was completed. Academically, Ronald holds a doctorate in Microbial Ecology from Radboud University, an Ir degree in Soil Science from Wageningen University & Research, and has additionally pursued post-doctoral studies in IT Management at Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
