Jay Belcher

Jay Belcher is an experienced media professional with a focus on news production and leadership. Currently serving as the Executive Producer at KOIN-TV since April 2021, Jay leads a news team in executing the station's philosophy and vision while emphasizing accountability and storytelling. Prior to this role, Jay worked at KPTV Fox 12 Oregon as a 5pm and 11pm News Producer, and held the position of Executive Producer at KGW Media Group from January 2011 to September 2016. Jay began a career in television as a Producer at WTXF (FOX) from 2004 to 2006. Jay holds a degree in Journalism, Broadcast from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completed between 1996 and 2001.
