Dan Goldin is a seasoned aerospace and technology leader, recognized for founding Cold Canyon, a specialized advisory firm for deep tech private equity, venture capital funds, and startups in July 2018. Goldin served as the 9th and longest-tenured Administrator of NASA from April 1992 to January 2001, appointed by President George H.W. Bush. Additional roles include membership on the Advisory Board of the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue since August 2020 and the National Academy of Engineering since 1995, as well as a distinguished fellowship at the Council on Competitiveness from 2001 to 2020. From December 2016 to 2019, Goldin was a member of the Global Advisory Board at DocuSign. Prior to NASA, Goldin held the position of Vice President and General Manager at TRW Space and Technology Group from 1987 to 1992, a company later acquired by Northrop Grumman in 2002. Education was completed at The City College of New York.
