Jim Barrett

Jim Barrett is an accomplished product manager with extensive experience in the energy and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Product Manager and Client Delivery Lead at Kraken since August 2023, Jim previously held multiple leadership roles at Flux Federation, including Principal Product Manager and Director of Client Services. With over 15 years of experience with the Flux software across three markets, Jim focused on identifying generic product solutions to meet diverse client needs. Prior roles include Regional Manager for Powershop UK, Head of Product at Powershop, and various positions at Powershop NZ Ltd, contributing significantly to the development of the Powershop system. Jim's career began at Contact Energy Ltd, where a range of roles built a strong foundation in operations and customer management. Jim Barrett holds a PhD and a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Bath.
