Dr. Jamal Zeinalov, P. Eng.

Dr. Jamal Zeinalov, P. Eng. has over 16 years of work experience in engineering. Dr. Jamal began their career in 2004 as an Engineering Designer at Pratt & Whitney Canada. In 2006, they moved to PV Labs as a Mechanical Engineering Designer. In 2008, they became a Design Engineer at Daimler Buses North America. From 2010 to 2020, they worked at Pratt & Whitney Canada in the roles of Engineering Manager and Senior Design Engineer. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Kraken Sense.

Dr. Jamal Zeinalov, P. Eng. completed their education history at Ryerson University, beginning with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Aerospace Engineering from 2000 to 2004. Dr. Jamal then earned a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from 2004 to 2006. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerospace Engineering from 2009 to 2016. Dr. Jamal also holds a Professional Engineer certification from Professional Engineers Ontario.
