Winston Lord

Winston Lord has had a diverse work experience. In 2013, they were a Backroom Team Member at Target Canada. In 2014, they were a Team Canada Competitor at Skills/Compétences Canada. In 2015, they were a Shipping Checker at Mattel, Inc. In 2016, they were a Hardware Developer at Ambience Data. In 2021, they were a Partial Load Instructor at Humber College, where they conducted both in-person and online Labs for ELIC-316 Power Electronics, instructed students on how to use electronics lab equipment, instructed students on proper breadboarding layout techniques, provided information on real-world pitfalls new grads can find themselves in while in the field, and instructed students on rapid debugging. In 2018, they were an Engineering Manager at Kraken Sense, where they designed custom embedded systems, designed optics systems, designed fluid pumping/routing systems, designed, tested, and validated systems using custom test beds, collaborated with various research teams to guide systems design, managed and mentored employees/interns, CNCed various components, 3D printed various components, and performed injection molding. Winston Lord is currently a Partial Load Instructor at Humber College.

Winston Lord attended Humber College from 2012 to 2015, where they studied Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician.
