Uzma Zeeshan - Chartered MCIPD, LLB, MPA (HRM)

Uzma Zeeshan has a wealth of experience in Human Resources, having worked in the field since 2001. Uzma began their career as a Senior HR Officer at Engineering Co., where they were responsible for manpower mobilization planning, recruitment and selection, and working with department heads to identify training needs and succession planning. In 2003, they moved to i2c Inc. as a Human Resource Manager, where they developed and implemented HR processes, HR policies and an employee handbook, and managed the Strategic Management of Recruitment & Selection and the Employee Onboarding Process. In 2005, they joined Mentor Graphics as a Human Resource Manager, where they were the liaison between the corporate HR team and the regional management for HR plans, and coached and advised line managers for HR policies & processes implementation. From 2015 to 2020, Uzma worked as a HR Business Partner at Chiltern & South Bucks District Councils, where they were responsible for Change Management/Transformation, Service Restructuring, Organisational Culture Change Programme, Coaching, Mentoring and Counselling of managers and Heads of Service in Employee Relations, HR Project Management, TUPE, Staff Engagement, Investors in People, Learning and Workforce Development, Trade Unions Relationship Management, Hay Job Evaluation and Workforce Planning Framework. In 2019, they joined Tech Tycoon as Chief Operating Officer. In 2020, they joined Buckinghamshire Council as a Human Resources Consultant, where they were a Senior Employee Relations Expert and the Lead HRIS projects implementation for Advisory & Consultancy team, as well as a Subject-matter Expert for Employment Law, Diversity & Inclusion cases for the entire team. Uzma currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Karsaaz.

Uzma Zeeshan holds a Chartered MCIPD, LLB, and MPA (HRM). Uzma obtained their CIPD advanced diploma in HRM - Level 7 from the CIPD in 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Human Resources Management Program from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in 2005. Uzma Zeeshan also holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of the Punjab, which they obtained between 2001 and 2004. Additionally, they completed a Master of Public Administration (specializing in Human Resource Management) from the University of the Punjab between 1999 and 2001.
