Jamie Balkin

Jamie Balkin is an experienced communications and events professional with a strong background in marketing and community engagement. Currently serving as the Director of Events at Krasl Art Center since January 2022, Jamie directs the nationally recognized Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff and manages a large team of volunteers. Prior roles include the Director of Marketing at Wightman, where Jamie developed comprehensive marketing strategies and led a significant branding project, and various communication positions at Cornerstone Alliance, focusing on event coordination and community branding initiatives. Jamie began a career in management at Michigan Pizza Hut, where responsibilities included scheduling and crew management, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Saint Mary's College.
