Bas Hennissen

Mr. Hennissen was appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Specialty Polymers in 2020. He is responsible for all sales, marketing, and market development activities globally for Kraton’s Specialty Polymer products. Mr. Hennissen has over 30 years of experience in the chemical industry. He started his career with Shell Chemicals and later worked for Hexion and Port of Rotterdam in various senior commercial roles in Europe and the U.S. Mr. Hennissen joined Arizona Chemical Company in 2015, which was acquired by Kraton in 2016. Following the merger, Mr. Hennissen served as the Business Unit Director for Cariflex and subsequently was appointed VP of Sales Asia, based in Shanghai.

Mr. Hennissen holds a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a master’s degree in Business Marketing from the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands.
