Brian Abernathy

Brian Abernathy is a seasoned database professional with extensive experience in database administration and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Database Specialist at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions since August 2019, Brian provides 24x7 support for SAP and Oracle production databases as part of an Army Logistics Transformation contract. Prior to this role, Brian held similar positions at Alutiiq and The Centech Group, focusing on database management for military applications. With a career spanning over three decades, Brian has contributed to various projects across organizations, including NASA and the Corps of Engineers, specializing in Oracle database systems and software solutions. Brian earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville (2011-2013) and a BS in Computer Science from the same institution (1983-1989).
