Garnet Mons has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Garnet is currently the Director of Business Development at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this role, Garnet worked as a Field Support Engineer at VASTech from June 2016 to April 2021, where they were responsible for technical management and support for designated customers. Garnet also worked as a Lead System Administrator at Capfin from February 2014 to June 2016, managing server environments, infrastructure planning, and network design. Before that, Garnet held positions as a Network Administrator at Reutech Radar Systems from August 2010 to January 2014 and as an IT Support at Gsolutions from January 2006 to July 2010.

Garnet Mons has a certificate in Business Development Management from the University of Cape Town, obtained in 2020.
