Matthew Donkin

Matthew Donkin has a strong background in security solutions and defense, with experience in both the private and public sectors. Matthew is currently working as the Principal FedRAMP Assessor and Delivery Manager at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions. Prior to this, they were a part of Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they held the role of AWS SecAssurance:Gov FedRAMP. In this role, they played a crucial role in establishing AWS as a market leader for automation and collaborated with regulators and trusted partners to achieve goals. Matthew also enabled AWS to fulfill a key requirement for the multi-billion dollar JWCC contract. Before joining AWS, Matthew spent several years in the United States Air Force, where they held various roles including Training Program Director, Information and Personnel Security Manager, Intelligence Analyst, System and Database Administrator, Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), Information Assurance Officer, and Communications Security Officer. During their time in the Air Force, they demonstrated their problem-solving skills and ability to implement solutions through various database and collaboration projects.

Matthew Donkin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Intelligence Studies from American Military University in 2016. Matthew continued their education at the same institution and completed a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity Studies in 2019.
