Michael Thompson is an experienced professional in the cyber security field, currently serving as a Technical Sales Engineer for Kratos Defense and Security Solutions since November 2022, focusing on the growth of Advanced Cyber Services. Prior to this role, Michael worked at CYVANT as an Advanced Persistent Technical Recruiter, specializing in recruiting cyber security professionals, and served as a Business Development Manager for Scope Group. Michael's background also includes significant experience in the restaurant industry, where mentorship and talent management were key contributions, as well as analytical work with New West Technologies, supporting initiatives in hydrogen safety and battery technology. Michael holds a degree in Integrated Science and Technology from James Madison University and completed additional training at the SANS Technology Institute.
