Michael Ward

Michael Ward is a seasoned professional in the defense and security sector with over 30 years of experience. Currently serving as Program Director for Kratos Global Sensor Network at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions since October 2007, Michael oversees a 365/24/7 RF Space Domain Awareness mission across approximately 20 global sites, employing agile software development methodologies. Previously, Michael held the role of Senior Project Manager, managing the development and sustainment of ground systems for SATCOM and spectral monitoring. Prior experience includes serving in various technical and managerial roles with the US Air Force for over 21 years, focusing on laser physics, satellite payload integration, and space surveillance. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Engineering-Physics from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Harvey Mudd College, along with completing the Program Manager's Course at Defense Acquisition University.
