Travis Fousek

Travis Fousek currently serves as a Senior Hypersonic Reentry Vehicle Engineer at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions since March 2023. Prior to this role, Travis held the position of Senior Aeronautical/System Engineer at Otto Aviation from January 2008 to February 2023, where major responsibilities included performance analysis, aircraft loads, weight/configuration management, and leading flight tests for a prototype aircraft. Earlier experience includes working as an Aeronautical Engineer, focusing on FEA, CFD, composite engineering, and structural testing. Travis also gained experience as a Student Technician at the Center for Space Research at UT Austin, handling signal processing and testing related to GPS receivers. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering in Interdisciplinary Engineering (Aerospace & Materials) from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
