Dr. Arndt Praeuer

Dr. Arndt Praeuer has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Dr. Arndt is currently serving as the CPO, Vice President, and Head of Global Procurement at KraussMaffei since March 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Global Head of Purchasing at Putzmeister Group from 2016 to February 2020. In 2016, they were appointed as the Head of Purchasing at BENNINGHOVEN GmbH & Co. KG/Wirtgen Group. Dr. Praeuer also worked as the Director and Head of Procurement & Supply Chain Management at Bielomatik from 2011 to 2015. Dr. Arndt held similar positions at AE&E Deutschland GmbH and AE&E Group GmbH, where they served as the Director and Head of Supply Management & Logistics and Director and Head of Strategic Purchasing Group, respectively. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Head of Team Strategic Purchasing Group at Voith AG, a Research Assistant at the University of Stuttgart, a Buyer in the Central Department for IT Purchasing at Robert Bosch GmbH, and a Commodity Teamleader at Opel.

Dr. Arndt Praeuer obtained their Diplom-Kaufmann technisch orientiert degree in Technical oriented Business Management from the University of Stuttgart in 1997. Dr. Arndt then pursued further education and completed their Dr. degree in Technical oriented Business Management - Solutions Sourcing from the same institution in 2004.
