Hammad Bawany

Hammad Bawany has worked in various roles across a number of companies. In 2021, they joined Krave Mart (YC S22) as Co-Founder and CPO. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at foodpanda as Head of Vendor Management and Product Specialist. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at HumMart as Product and Operations Manager. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Founder & CEO of PaisayBachao.pk, an e-commerce store focusing on electronics and home & kitchen items. Hammad grew the company from scratch and ran it for 3 years, setting up all processes and information flows across all departments and recruiting and mentoring people across all departments. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Daraz.pk in various roles such as Sr. Manager Product, Warehouse & Production, Product Manager, Junior Product Manager, and Graduate Trainee.

Hammad Bawany completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and Supply Chain Management from the Institute of Business Administration in 2012. Prior to this, they obtained their A levels in Commerce from The City School PAF Chapter in 2008. Hammad also holds certifications from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX for Harvard CS50 Introduction to Computer Science in October 2019, and from CFA Institute for Chartered Financial Analyst - level 1 in December 2011.
