Sjoerd Feitsma

Sjoerd Feitsma is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within both the cultural and public sectors. Currently serving as directeur of Platform Arbeidsmarkt Culturele en Creatieve Toekomst (Platform ACCT) since August 2020, Sjoerd also holds positions as voorzitter of Kredietbank Nederland and Fabuch Social Cinema, as well as bestuurslid at the Explore the North festival and kernlid of the Sociaal Creatieve Raad. Previously, Sjoerd was deputy mayor of Leeuwarden, managing multiple portfolios including finance, culture, and poverty policy. With a solid educational background that includes an LL.M. in Recht & Bestuur from the University of Groningen and a BBA in International Financial & Legal Studies from NHL Stenden, Sjoerd has built a distinguished career focused on cultural engagement and community development.
