Brandon Sanson

Brandon Sanson has a diverse work experience history. In 2011, they started working as a Checkout Assistant at Palmers Garden Centre, where they engaged with customers, merchandised products, and assisted customers with heavy items. From 2015 to 2015, Brandon worked as a Retail Salesperson at Chiefs Rugby Club, handling high-pressure situations such as pre-game and halftime jersey and fan gear sales, stock monitoring, and theft prevention. In 2019, they joined Thames-Coromandel District Council as an Intermediate Business Intelligence Developer, where they were responsible for SSRS and PowerBI report development, monitoring and developing SSIS packages, and handling daily ETL flows into the DataWarehouse. From 2021 to 2022, Brandon worked as a Labourer/Builder at Outdoor Living Evolutions LTD, and in 2022, they became a Data Engineer at Kredinor AS. In their current role, they are a member of a scrum-based data engineering team, developing Azure dataflows and pipelines, maintaining existing jobs, and monitoring daily ETL loads to the datawarehouse.

Brandon Sanson attended The University of Waikato from 2014 to 2018. Brandon obtained a Bachelor of Computer and Mathematical Sciences (Hons) degree with a major in Computer Science during this period. In December 2019, Brandon obtained an additional certification, the Microsoft Professional Program in Data Science, from Microsoft.
