Mikael Geday is an experienced executive and board member with a strong background in finance and law. Currently serving as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Kredsløb since March 2022, Mikael has held the position of Group Executive Vice President and CFO at GRUNDFOS since April 2014. Previous roles include Owner of 2010 Consult from January 2011 to April 2014, where complex transactions were specialized in, and CFO for both Thermal Power and Wind Power divisions at DONG Energy from April 2007 to December 2010. Mikael's career also includes leadership positions at Rockwool International A/S and Rockwool Norway. Academic credentials include an MBA from INSEAD, a Ph.D. in Law from Aarhus University, and a Master’s degree in Law from the same institution.

Kredsløb is an utility company with around 500 employees who work with contributing to the green transition and supporting our customers and partners in doing the same every day. RECYCLING AND WASTE We handle waste from 178,000 households in the Aarhus area and run the city’s recycling centres – also the recycling centre REUSE. DISTRICT HEATING AND ENERGY With a district heating network with more than 2,700 km, we are delivering heat and hot water to 330,000 citizens – focusing on making district heating even more green. At Kredsløb Power Plant Lisbjerg and Kredsløb Power Plant Skanderborg, we utilise waste to make electricity and district heating. Besides, we make heat of straw, chipped bark, sea water, surplus heat, and soon also geothermal energy. Kredsløb is owned by the municipality of Aarhus with a yearly turnover of DKK 2.1 billion.
