Kristy Cheng has a diverse and extensive work experience in creative and design roles. Kristy started their career as a Graphic Designer at DayRunner, Inc. in 1991. Kristy then moved on to work as an Art Director at Teleflora, where they created promotional programs and advertising campaigns. Kristy then joined Knowledge Adventure as a Graphic Designer, specializing in designing packaging materials for educational software games. In 1996, they joined Activision/Blizzard, where they held the positions of Packaging Manager and later Creative Manager. Kristy led and managed the creative aspects of various projects and brands, including JumpStart, Bourne, Barbie, Crash, and Spyro. In 2009, they accepted a role as Manager, International Creative Services at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where they oversaw trade, packaging, and POS materials for international territories. After that, Kristy became the Creative Director/Principal at Cheng Design, where they provided creative direction and oversaw projects until 2012. Currently, they are the Vice President Creative Services at Kretek International, where they lead a team of designers and photographers and provides innovative ideas for new products and brands.

Kristy Cheng attended the University of Michigan, where they transferred to UCLA to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design. Kristy also had a background in Art from their time at the University of Michigan. However, specific start and end years for these education experiences are not provided.
