Hans Peder Torgersen

Hans Peder Torgersen has extensive experience in law enforcement, particularly with Kripos, where since November 2007, Torgersen has held the position of Politiinspektør - Seksjonsleder, overseeing personnel, finance, and technology. Previously, Torgersen served as Politiinspektør - Assistant Chief of Police in the cybercrime division at Kripos, gaining significant insight into the technological aspects of investigations. Before returning to Kripos, Torgersen worked as Detective Chief Inspector at Interpol Oslo from 2005 to 2007, focusing on enhancing international police cooperation and information exchange in criminal cases, with an emphasis on ICT solutions. Torgersen's career began at Kripos, where from 2004 to 2005, responsibility included the establishment of a new unit for investigating war crimes and international offenses. Torgersen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from BI Norwegian Business School, alongside studies in Law at the University of Oslo and a foundational education at Politihøgskolen and Skeisvang videregående skole.
