David Morris

David Morris, CFSP, has a comprehensive work experience in the field of strategic sourcing and purchasing. David currently holds the position of Director Indirect Category Strategic Sourcing at Krispy Kreme since 2016. Prior to this, they worked at Franke Foodservice Systems, Inc as a Sourcing Manager from 2012 to 2016, where they were responsible for global sourcing management and negotiating raw material contracts. David also served as the Purchasing Manager at the same company from 2006 to 2012. Before joining Franke, David worked at Banta Foods as a Buyer in 2005.

David'searlier experiences include roles at Franke Commercial Systems, Inc as a Sourcing Agent from 2002 to 2005, Instill Corporation as a Product Data Analyst in 2000, Ameriserve Foodservice as a Product Supply Analyst from 1999 to 2000, Robert Orr Sysco Foods, Inc as a Buyer from 1996 to 1999, and B & G Distributing, Inc as a Buyer/Inside Sales/Outside Sales from 1995 to 1996.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated their expertise in reducing costs, managing inventory, and coordinating cross-functional teams. David is Certified Foodservice Professional (CFSP) and possesses skills in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Inventory Control.

David Morris, CFSP, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin between 1987 and 1992. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) from Motlow State Community College and President's Club from Prime Advantage. Furthermore, they are a Certified Foodservice Professional (CFSP) through the North American Food Equipment Manufacturers.
