Onkar Singh

Onkar Singh has a vast and diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and quality assurance. Onkar started their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer at FastTrac IT solutions, where they worked in the telecom sector, focusing on Asterisk-based diallers and CRM. Onkar also provided network and VPN setups for clients and performed bug fixing and performance testing.

In 2008, Onkar joined SafeNet Consulting as a Software Engineer, where they worked on IPsec VPN technology, VPN client and server testing, OEM testing, and file encryption testing. Onkar was responsible for writing and executing test cases, as well as automation.

From 2011 to 2013, Onkar worked at Symantec as a Software Engineer, primarily focusing on PGP encryption products and Guardian Edge Encryption Products, including disk, file, and email encryption.

In 2013, Onkar joined iSIGHT Partners as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. Here, they worked on the cyber security domain, specifically in the collection layer and dissemination of finished intelligence. From 2017 to 2020, Onkar served as a Staff Quality Assurance Engineer at FireEye, Inc. Onkar worked extensively in the cyber security domain, focusing on the collection layer to the dissemination of finished intelligence. Onkar's responsibilities included integration of security products, validation of data/threat models, and writing and verifying test cases. Onkar also mentored team members.

Most recently, Onkar joined Krista in 2020 as a Sr. Principal QA Engineer. Further details about their role in this company are not provided.

Onkar Singh completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Rajasthan from 2003 to 2005. Onkar then pursued a PG diploma in Embedded System from DOEACC, Calicut from 2005 to 2006.
