Ashlyn Bassiri

Ashlyn Bassiri is the Senior Vice President of Nonclinical Safety, Immunology, and BioAnalytics at Kriya. Ashlyn joined Kriya from CSL Behring where she was the Head of Translational Safety. Prior to that, she was the Pharmacovigilance Leader for all liver-targeted programs and supported the US and European filings for LUXTURNA® at the Philadelphia-based gene therapy company, Spark Therapeutics. She spent ten years in R&D at GlaxoSmithKline where she focused on immune toxicities in both the nonclinical and clinical safety groups, eventually chairing the Immune Safety panel. Ashlyn received her Ph.D. in immunology from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She received her master’s and undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Immunology from Ohio University.
