Philippe Penelle is the Managing Director at Kroll, LLC, where they specialize in designing, valuing, and defending transactions involving the transfer of intellectual property rights. With over 25 years of transfer pricing experience, Philippe has assisted multinational clients in various industries, including Life Sciences and Technology, and has contributed to high-profile cost sharing controversy cases. Prior to Kroll, they served as a Principal at Deloitte Tax LLP, where they led key discussions with the OECD and U.S. Treasury on international tax policies. Philippe earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, where they also taught as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer. Additionally, Philippe has published articles on valuation methodologies in prominent tax journals and is recognized as one of the world’s leading transfer pricing advisers by Euromoney Legal Media Group.
