Shakir Hakeem

Shakir Hakeem is a consultant for issuer services at Kroll since August 2023, with a background in various roles that highlight entrepreneurial and leadership skills. Previous experiences include serving as a Basta Fellow at projectBASTA, where support was provided to first-generation college students, and founding the NSVCQC, which established multiple chapters for Venture Capital clubs. Shakir contributed to the CPG industry during a fellowship at NielsenIQ, worked as an investment intern at Fisher Brothers, and owned a shisha business, Bambooz Premium Mixes. Earlier roles included front desk administration and management positions, as well as experience in sales with Vetri Gems. Shakir Hakeem holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Corporate Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from Queens College.
