Sherif Assef

Sherif Assef is a seasoned transfer pricing advisor with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Managing Director at Kroll since January 2024, Sherif focuses on intercompany financing arrangements. Previously, Sherif held the position of Principal in the Washington National Tax practice at KPMG LLP from March 2016 to September 2023, where responsibilities included developing transfer pricing opportunities and monitoring global regulatory updates. Prior to KPMG, Sherif was Managing Director at Duff & Phelps, leading the New York transfer pricing team after the acquisition of Ceteris, where Sherif served as Managing Director overseeing the New York office from 2003 to 2012. Early in the career, Sherif was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, addressing transfer pricing compliance and planning across various industries, and held the role of Portfolio Manager at Equitable Capital, managing fixed income portfolios for institutional clients. Sherif holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from Fordham University.
