Erin Cross

VP Platform at Kromatid

Erin Cross began their career in 2003 as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology. In 2007, they joined the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Molecular Entomology Technician in the Division of Vector-Borne Infectious Diseases. Here, they conducted research on mosquito genetics, West Nile virus-mosquito interactions, and the development of molecular diagnostic techniques. In 2009, they joined Kromatid Inc. as a Senior Research Scientist, then a Research Scientist, and finally a Research Associate. In 2014, they were promoted to Research Manager at Kromatid. Finally, in 2021, they were promoted to Senior Vice President Quality, VP of Research, and Associate Director of Whole Genome R&D at KromaTiD™ Inc.

Erin Cross attended Colorado State University from 1998 to 2007, where they earned a Master's degree in Microbiology with a focus in Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Virology. Erin also earned a Bachelor's degree from Colorado State University in Biological Science, which they completed in 2006.
