Mark Carper

Mark Carper is a results-oriented Engineering leader who serves as the Director of Operations at Kromek, where they lead Production, Supply Chain, and Process Engineering activities in CZT Detector Manufacturing. Previously, they held various leadership roles, including Director of Operations at Cadence Inc. and Senior Project Manager, managing new product industrialization for medical devices. Mark has a strong background in improving quality, productivity, and cost reduction using lean six-sigma methodologies, with notable accomplishments across multiple industries, including semiconductor manufacturing and medical devices. Mark is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Marquette University and a Master’s in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Science and Engineering from Penn State University.
