Rajiv Rao

Rajiv Rao has a diverse work experience, starting in 2003 as the Owner of Dr. Jairaj's Diagnostic Centre. Rajiv later held roles such as Consultant Pathologist at Wockhardt Hospital, Lab Director at Krsna Diagnostics Ltd., and Vice-President at Krsnaa Diagnostics Ltd. Rajiv also served as Vice President (Mumbai) and Head of Medical Services at Krsnaa Diagnostics Ltd. Currently, they hold the position of Dean at DY Patil University School of Medicine, where they previously served as Vice Dean, Professor and Head of the Department of Pathology, and Academic Co-ordinator. Rajiv has been actively involved in the field of medicine and pathology across various organizations.

Rajiv Rao completed their Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) from Fr. Agnels Multipurpose School in 1991. Rajiv then pursued their Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai from 1993 to 1999. Later, they achieved their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Pathology from Grant Medical College & Sir JJ Group Of Hospitals, Mumbai, between 2000 and 2003. Rajiv also completed an Executive MBA in Hospitals and Healthcare Systems Management from BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes.
