Allan Cannon

Allan Cannon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Allan started their career as a Summer Placement Student at Instituto Superior Técnico in 2003, followed by a Masters Placement Student role at TMD Technologies Ltd in 2005. Allan then moved on to MBDA, where they worked as a Principal Engineer in different capacities from 2005 to 2016. Later, Allan transitioned to AAC Clyde Space as a Systems Engineering Manager and eventually became the Head of Missions from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, they worked as a Director at AC Space Ltd and as the CEO and Co-Founder of Krucial. Throughout their career, Allan has led various projects and successful missions, contributing significantly to the organizations they have been a part of.

Allan Cannon has pursued their education through various institutions and programs. Allan completed a BSc in Physics from the University of Strathclyde in 2004, followed by an MSc in High Power RF Science and Engineering in 2005. Allan then began an Engineering Doctorate in Systems at the University of Bristol in 2009, but it remains part complete. In 2018 and 2019, they completed the iGAP program in Business at Strathclyde Business School. Most recently, in 2020 and 2021, Allan participated in the Startup Mentor Accelerator Programme - Space Stream at Creative Destruction Lab.
