Yulin Nong

Yulin Nong has extensive experience in data engineering, machine learning, and business analysis. Prior to joining Kruger Inc. as a Lead Data Engineer in 2021, Yulin worked in various roles from 2017 to 2021, including Data Engineer, Machine Learning Specialist, and Business Analysis Consultant. Yulin specialized in converting vague issues into mathematical problems and providing comprehensive analysis and solutions. Yulin also has a background in education, having worked as a Mathematics Teacher at the Montreal Confucius School from 2019 to 2020. Before that, Yulin served as a Senior Instructor at the Civil Aviation Flight University of China from 2014 to 2019, where they developed machine learning models and built SQL databases. Yulin also gained experience as a Software Engineer at TRU Simulation + Training from 2013 to 2014 and as a Research and Teaching Assistant at McGill University from 2009 to 2012.

Yulin Nong obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, Yulin Nong attended Beijing Institute of Technology, where they also pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Yulin Nong has obtained several certifications. These include being a Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, completing the PI System Basics course from OSIsoft, being a Software AG Certified webMethods.io Integration Associate, and being a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level II candidate (having passed Level I at a score of 90%, with 10A).

Furthermore, Yulin Nong has completed the ETL and Data Pipelines with Shell, Airflow, and Kafka course on Coursera, achieved the Business Analytics Specialization on Coursera, and holds the AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Finally, Yulin Nong is also a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer, having completed the necessary requirements in December 2019.
