Jens Schaper

Jens Schaper has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting from 2000, they worked as an intern and work student at General Electric, focusing on process improvement. Jens then joined Ontex as the Production Systems Manager before transitioning to Novelis in 2006. At Novelis, Jens held various roles, including Black Belt and Manager of the IT Department. In 2016, they joined SNP Schneider-Neureither & Partner AG as a Consulting Project Lead. Presently, Jens is the Head of IT at KRÜSS - Advancing your Surface Science, a position they have held since October 2019.

Jens Schaper attended Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft from 1998 to 2002, where they studied Business oriented Computer Science. Jens then went on to Hochschule Flensburg from 2002 to 2005 to pursue a Dipl degree in the same field. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the ITIL Expert Certificate in IT Service Management and ITIL Foundation Certificate in 2015, as well as the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner Certificates in Project Management in 2016.
