Jessica Budge, PMP, PSM, P.Geo

Jessica Budge, PMP, PSM, P.Geo has a wealth of experience in the field of project management and geophysics. Jessica has worked for Krux Analytics Inc. since 2021 as a Product Strategy Manager and Project Manager. Jessica also works for Vertical Motion Inc. since 2021 as a Project Manager & Business Analyst. In this role, they plan and delivers all RFP responses and translation of business needs to business requirements, manages schedules, assets and overall project organization, and monitors and communicates with multiple teams.

Prior to this, Jessica worked for TechnoTrust Technologies as an Information Technology Consultant in 2020, where they remotely led and developed a unique project management development approach. From 2014 to 2020, Jessica worked for CNOOC International as a Senior Geophysicist / Scrum Master / Project Manager, leading a team in preparation for a $4.2B final investment decision.

Jessica began their career in 2008 at Schlumberger, where they worked as a Geophysicist and Petrophysics Data Analyst Intern. In this role, they engaged in all aspects of VSP and HFM projects, including software development, marketing, business development, project management, modeling, acquisition, processing, visualization, and interpretation. Jessica also gained valuable field experience through onsite real-time processing of microseismic data and cloud applications.

Jessica Budge, PMP, PSM, P.Geo has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geophysics from the University of Calgary, which they completed in 2008. In 2013, they obtained their Professional Geoscientist (P. Geo) certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). In 2019, they obtained their Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. In 2020, they obtained their IT Project Management Certificate from the University of Calgary Continuing Education, and their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Jessica is currently enrolled in the University of Calgary for an IT Project Management Certificate.
