Mark Eva

Mark Eva has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to present. Mark started their career as a Freelance Computer Technician while self-employed from June 2008 to September 2013. Mark then worked as an IT Graduate and later transitioned to become an Oracle DBA at Vanderlande Industries from November 2013 to January 2017. Mark continued their Oracle DBA/DevOps role at Fivium from January 2017 to December 2018. Mark joined A.P. Moller - Maersk as an Oracle DBA and Oracle DBA SME from January 2019 to April 2020 and from October 2019 to October 2020 respectively. Mark then worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at MUFG from May 2020 to July 2021. Mark then moved to BAGELWARE as a Site Reliability Engineer from September 2021 to February 2022. Mark currently holds the position of Platform Engineer at Kry, starting in March 2022 and transitioning to a Senior Platform Engineer role in December 2022.

Mark Eva completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Kingston University from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Networking from the College of Northwest London, where they studied from 2008 to 2010.

In terms of additional certifications, Mark Eva obtained the following qualifications:

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2023.

- Oracle Certified Professional 12c from Oracle in July 2017.

- Oracle Certified Associate (Database Administration) 11G from Oracle in July 2016.

- ITIL Foundation v.3 from ITIL in June 2014.
