Hiram Valencia

Hiram Valencia is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leading Information Technology strategies across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Information Technology at Neurogene Inc. since September 2024, Hiram has overseen major digital transformation initiatives and optimized business applications. Prior roles include Vice President of Information Technology at Krystal Biotech, Inc. and Head of Information Technology at Collegium Pharmaceutical, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed strategic direction and operational oversight. Hiram's background includes significant contributions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals as Global IT Head for the GxP Center of Excellence and at Novartis, where Hiram facilitated ongoing business transformation. Earlier experience includes leadership roles at Eli Lilly and Company, working on biotech manufacturing projects, and engineering positions at NASA Langley and Glenn Research Centers. Hiram holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the Universidad de Puerto Rico and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
