Lindsey Helsel

Lindsey Helsel is a professional with a diverse background in biomedical engineering and process development. Currently serving as an MS&T Associate Process Engineer II at Krystal Biotech, Inc. since April 2023, Lindsey previously worked as a Process Development Engineer at Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. from August 2021 to March 2023, focusing on hydrogel-based drug product candidates and GMP manufacture. Prior experience includes serving as a Server at Zach’s Sports and Spirits, where Lindsey provided customer service while adhering to health regulations, and as a Virtual Peer Advisor at Carnegie Mellon University, guiding incoming engineering students. Additionally, a Research Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh, Lindsey contributed to projects involving drug-loaded polymer microspheres. Lindsey holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering and Materials Science Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, with a focus on biomaterials and drug delivery.
