Marnie Perez

Marnie Perez is the current Human Resources Manager at Kryton International. Marnie was previously the Human Resource Coordinator at Kryton International Inc. from February 2013 to January 2017.

Marnie was instrumental in setting up the HR Department from planning, conceptualization to implementation and training of staff. Marnie drafted, finalized and implemented HR Policies and Procedures in Recruitment and Selection, Vacation and Sick Leaves, Timekeeping and attendance, Performance Management and Benefits Administration.

Marnie introduced in-house recruitment reducing costs of almost 75%. Marnie also introduced different employee relation activities such as birthday and anniversary emails, birthday item give away, small cost effective ways to make employees feel their significance in the company.

In addition, Marnie developed and initiated the following manuals: Employee Handbook, Office Services Manual, HR Procedures Manual, Performance Enhancement Plan User’s Guide. Marnie also introduced and coordinated the Annual Mini Olympics which served as the company’s annual team building activity which fostered camaraderie and strengthened communication among all the employees.

Marnie was also responsible for the improvement in the Benefits Package by adding the Medical Services Plan. Marnie processed all new hire, benefits leave, termination and attendance paperwork, ensuring 100% compliance with various labor laws and regulatory mandates and served as primary contact person answering management and staff questions on same.

Moreover, Marnie was the primary contact of government institutions when it comes to employment verifications and claims such as Employment Insurance and WCB. Marnie provided circulation to Management with regards to Employee Salaries, benefits and other employee related issues

Marnie Perez has a certification from CPHR BC & Yukon in CPHR.
