Ivan Herrera

Ivan Herrera, MSB, is a seasoned digital journalist with extensive experience in media production and storytelling. Currently serving as a Digital Journalist at KSAT since July 2016, Ivan creates and reports daily consumer TV packages for the live audience on Good Morning San Antonio. Prior to this role, Ivan was a Web Producer at KRGV-TV, where news stories were written and edited for online publication. Ivan also demonstrated leadership as the Bronc Radio Station Manager at The University of Texas - Pan American, guiding a team of students and successfully raising over $80K in funding for equipment. Additionally, Ivan contributed to the U.S. National Parks Service and UTPA CHAPS by producing and editing educational podcasts focusing on the Civil War Trail. Ivan holds a Master of Science in Business from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from The University of Texas-Pan American.
