Salvatore Catanese has a strong background in audit and finance. Salvatore started their career in 1981 as a Senior Accountant at AIG, where they analyzed balance sheet accounts and performed reconciliations. In 1988, they joined Grant Thornton as a Senior Accountant, responsible for planning jobs, performing field work, and preparing financial statements and tax returns. Salvatore then worked at Dowd and Ryder CPA as a FL Audit Supervisor, managing audit and review clients and preparing financial statements and tax returns. In 1994, Salvatore rejoined Grant Thornton as an Audit Senior, in charge of various audit clients. Salvatore later served as an Audit Manager at Spear, Safer, Harmon and Company, managing audits and reviews from planning to final deliverables. In 1998, Salvatore became an Audit Supervisor at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, overseeing middle-market audit clients. Salvatore then transitioned to Spear Safer and Company, where they worked as an Audit Manager, managing the firm's largest audit clients and being responsible for billing and collections. In 2005, they joined Daskal Bolton LLP as an Audit Manager, leading audit and review projects and aiding the conversion to paperless audits. From 2006 to 2010, they worked at CBIZ Goldstein Lewin as an Audit Manager, overseeing audit and review projects for various industries. Currently, Salvatore is a Senior Manager at Kabat, Schertzer, De La Torre, Taraboulos & Co., where they manage staff and directs audit and review projects for public and private companies in diverse sectors. Salvatore also provides coaching and feedback for staff development. Overall, Salvatore has extensive experience in audit management, financial reporting, coaching, and client relations.
