James Turnbull

As director of operational finance, James plays an essential role – supporting all the finance departments within the KSL portfolio by implementing and enhancing processes and systems to ensure maximum efficiency. With the ability to carefully solve operational issues by leveraging the breadth of KSL’s available resources, he collaborates with team members to turn complex problems into opportunities – ultimately giving them the tools needed for success.

Over the last decade he has worked for multiple high-profile KSL properties. A leader by nature, he was promoted to the position of director of finance for Monarch Beach Resort by the age of 30 – a personal goal. Additionally, he was a credit manager at La Costa Resort & Spa and a staff accountant for Miraval Tucson.
