In 2024, Karen Kashmer proudly took ownership of Basic Concept Interiors, which has since been rebranded as KSquared Construction Group. Bringing a fresh perspective and a skilled, experienced team, we continue to build on a strong foundation of proven design-build processes and exceptional craftsmanship. We’re excited to showcase what we can do. Whether you're looking for residential or commercial services, we’re dedicated to turning your vision into reality with personalized solutions and seamless project execution.

KSquared Construction Group is a design-build construction company founded in 1985 as Basic Concept Interiors, specializing in private residential and commercial restaurant markets. We focus on enhancing the residential community's homes and the restaurant industry's dining environment through furnishings and design and the knowledge and expertise in construction.
We are known throughout Pittsburgh for our workmanship, and for listening to our client's thoughts and needs. We have a proven track record of success in these markets, and our clients appreciate our attention to detail and commitment to quality.
