Sam Rothman

Sam Rothman is a seasoned sports anchor and reporter currently working at WATE 6 On Your Side since April 2023 and at KTAL NBC 6 News since April 2021. Rothman produces, reports, and edits content, hosting various sports shows and generating unique coverage, particularly related to Grambling State athletics. Previous experience includes roles as a digital reporter for Stony Brook Athletics, a broadcast intern for Syracuse Crunch, and a reporter for ACC Network Extra, where Rothman gained extensive on-camera interviewing skills and developed digital content. Rothman also held positions at MSG Networks Inc. and NBCUniversal Media during notable events like the Winter Olympics. A graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Rothman has a strong foundation in sports journalism and production.
